All CenterStage performances are staged in the handsomely refurbished Baggett auditorium of Gorton Community Center. Gorton Community Center is situated at the intersection of Illinois and McKinley Roads, two blocks south and one block east of Lake Forest’s historic Market Square. It is within easy walking distance of the Lake Forest commuter station served by Metra’s Union Pacific (formerly Chicago & Northwestern) North line trains. (See train Schedule)

By Car:

From Chicago and north suburbs, take I-94 (Kennedy/ Eden’s Expressway) through its transition to Highway 41. Exit Highway 41 at Deerpath Road. Take Deerpath Road east to McKinley. Take McKinley one block south to Gorton’s parking entrance.

From Schaumburg and other northwest suburbs, take I-90 (Northwest Tollway) East to I-294 (Tri-State Tollway) North. Take I-294 through its transition to I-94. Exit I-94 North at Highway 60 (Town Line Road). Take Highway 60 east to Highway 41. Take Highway 41 north to exit at Deerpath Road (the first exit). Take Deerpath Road east to McKinley. Take McKinley one block south to Gorton’s parking entrance.

From far north suburbs and Milwaukee, take Highway 41 south to exit at Deerpath Road. Take Deerpath Road east to McKinley. Take McKinley one block south to Gorton’s parking entrance.
